A man is in a critical condition following a motorcycle crash on the state’s Central Coast yesterday.
About 10.30pm (Friday 24 April 2020), emergency services were called to Tramway Road, North Avoca, after reports a motorcycle had crashed.
Officers from Brisbane Water Police District arrived to find a man seriously injured on the roadway.
Police believe the 20-year-old man was riding a Yamaha R6 north along the Tramway, before he lost control and was thrown from the bike.
The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is underway.
