A man reported missing from the Newcastle area has been located.
The 57-year-old was last seen at a business on Sandgate Road, Shortland, just before 1pm on Tuesday (2 January 2024).
Officers from Newcastle City Police District were notified, and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
The man was located safe and well after present to Waratah Police station about 7:45pm yesterday (Wednesday 3 January 2024).
Police would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
