Man stabbed, search underway at Campbelltown, NSW

A police operation is underway after a man was stabbed at Campbelltown today.

About 10.10am (Sunday 18 October 2020), emergency services were called to a motor inn on Queen Street, following reports of a fight between two men.

Officers attached to Campbelltown Police Area Command attended and were told a man was stabbed in the head by another man, who then drove from the scene in a white Toyota Camry Altise.

Shortly after, the Camry was located on Lugarno Street, Leumeah.

The injured man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.

Two crime scenes have been established on Queen and Lugarno streets and a search is underway.

Police believe the men are known to each other.
