Man stabbed; woman charged, NSW

A woman has been charged after a man was allegedly stabbed in Sydney’s west this morning.

Just after 6am (Saturday 29 December 2018), emergency services were called to a home in Cottonwood Avenue, Jordan Springs, after reports of a stabbing.

Police have been told a group of people were inside the home, when a man suffered a stab wound.

The injured man left the scene before police arrived; however, he was located at a home in Cranebrook a short time later.

The 29-year-old was taken to Nepean Hospital for treatment.

Officers from Nepean Police Area Command established a crime scene at the Jordan Springs home and commenced inquiries.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Penrith Police Station where she was charged with wounding a person with intent.

The Penrith woman was bail refused to appear at Penrith Bail Court tomorrow (Sunday 30 December 2018).
