Georges River Council has extended community consultation on its Draft Playspace Strategy until 27 November 2026. This allows residents more time to provide feedback following strong community interest.
The Draft Playspace Strategy provides a long-term framework to guide the planning, renewal and improvement of playspaces across the Georges River area over the next 20 years.
Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said the extended consultation period would give more people the opportunity to contribute.
“We’ve seen strong interest in the Draft Playspace Strategy and want to ensure our community has enough time to review the document and share their feedback,” Mayor Borg said.
“The Strategy will help guide future investment in playspaces across Georges River, and community input is an important part of that process.”
Residents can view the draft Strategy and provide feedback until 27 November 2026 via Council’s Your Say webpage.
