Man with dementia missing from Botany area

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man with dementia missing from Botany.

Shane Bell, aged 67, was last seen on Luland Street, Botany, about 9am today (Tuesday 2 May 2023).

After failing to return home, officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Family and police hold concerns for Shane’s welfare due to him living with dementia.

Shane is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 180cm tall, of large build, with grey hair and a grey beard.

He was last seen wearing a black singlet, grey and white jacket, and blue jeans.
