Meals in Melbourne means money back

The City of Melbourne and the Victorian Government’s $8.4 million ‘Melbourne Money’ dining scheme kicks off today, as restrictions ease and the city begins to bounce back.

Whether Melburnians are indulging in dumplings in Chinatown, a riverside lunch in Southbank or burgers in the city, they can claim 20 per cent of their money back – including takeaway picked up in-store.

Food outlets in entertainment precincts like the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Princess Theatre are also eligible.

Diners who spend more than $50 are eligible to claim, with a maximum rebate of $100, and the cashback process is as simple as uploading a receipt online.

The scheme will be available until all funds are exhausted so Melburnians are encouraged to take advantage of this offer and submit claims quickly to avoid disappointment.

‘Melbourne Money’ is offered in partnership with the Victorian Government as part of its $107.4 million contribution to bolster City of Melbourne businesses and bring the buzz back.
