Melton Ready To Trot Into New Year

New Year’s Eve Race Night at Tabcorp Park Melton will deliver top quality racing and family friendly entertainment to ring in the start of 2022, with support from the Andrews Labor Government.

Acting Minister for Racing Jaala Pulford today announced the Labor Government is allocating more than $23,000 from the Victorian Racing Industry Fund – Raceday Attraction Program for the event on Friday.

A family friendly program of racing and entertainment includes live music, an arts and craft area, roving entertainers, rides and plenty of dining options including food trucks.

Since December 2014 the Government has approved more than $1,310,000 to support race meetings and racing infrastructure projects at Tabcorp Park Melton.

The harness racing industry in Victoria generates $600 million for the economy and helps sustain over 4,360 full-time-equivalent jobs.
