Melton South hit and run

Officers from Melton Highway Patrol are investigating a hit and run collision which occurred in Melton South on Wednesday.

Investigators have been told a 55-year-old Melton South man was crossing Garry Street about 2.20pm.

As he was crossing a maroon coloured sedan entered Garry Street from Station Road and hit the 55-year-old.

The pedestrian hit the road and injured his elbow while the sedan drove from the scene and was last seen entering Grace Street.

Investigators have released CCTV of a vehicle seen in the area at the time of the collision.
