Mernda COVID testing site on move

The DPV Health drive-through COVID-19 testing station at Woodland Waters Reserve on Waterview Drive, Mernda will move to Mernda Station car park (off Schotters Road) from Friday 6 November 2020.

Testing is available daily from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

If you have any symptoms: fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or loss or change in sense of smell or taste, get tested immediately.

The test takes around a minute and involves a swab from the back of your throat and nose.

Bookings are not required in order to be tested. The test is free for everyone. You should bring at least one form of identification – for example, your Medicare card, driver’s licence or student ID.

If you have symptoms, you must return home immediately after the test and remain in self-isolation until you receive your test result.

If you are worried you will lose pay while you wait for your results, you may be eligible for a Victorian Government payment of $450.
