Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Michael Hannaford.
The 36-year-old man is wanted on warrant in relation theft offences.
Hannaford is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 178cm tall and is of medium build.
He has straight brown hair, brown eyes and a brown/red beard.
He is known to frequent the Sunbury, Kyneton, Riddles Creek, Woodend and Melbourne areas.
Investigators have released an image of Hannaford in the hope someone may be able to provide information on his current whereabouts.
