Mila Road repairs getting underway

Crew and road plant establishing traffic controls on Mila Road in August 2023.

Council is pleased to announce that repairs and improvements to Mila Road – from Monaro Highway to Craigie – commenced on Monday 21 August 2023, funded by the NSW Government’s Fixing Local Roads Funding Program Round 3.

Work will see an upgraded road surface built over six kilometres of sealed road starting from the intersection of Monaro Highway, heavy patching and repairs for a further four kilometres of sealed road, and general maintenance work on 10 kilometres of unsealed road. Works are expected last until the end of 2023, weather permitting.

Traffic control will be established along Mila Road and – while any disruptions will be minimised – delays should be expected.

The contractor – McMahons Earthmoving – has already carried out a letter drop to the residents on Mila Road, which provides additional information on these works.
