Missing elderly man in Toogoom, QLD

Police are seeking public assistance to locate an 87-year-old man missing from Toogoom today, July 30.

Ellis David Pollard was last seen around 3pm walking through Beelbi Creek near Moreton Street, to check his crab pots, but didn’t return home.

Family, friends and police hold concerns for Ellis’ welfare given his age and his disappearance is out of character.

Residents in the surrounding area are being asked to check their properties, including their backyards, sheds or structures, where Ellis may be seeking shelter.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 165cm tall, with a slight build and grey hair.

Anyone with information in regards to his disappearance, is urged to contact police.
