A young girl reported missing from the Greater Western Sydney area has been located safe.
The 12-year-old girl was last seen riding her scooter near the Carnes Hill skate park near Kurrajong Road, Carnes Hill about 5.45pm today (Thursday 28 December 2023).
When she did not return home and could not be located, officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command were told and commenced inquiries to find her.
Following a geotargeted message, the girl was located safe in the Rossmore area about 8.30pm this evening.
Police would like to thank the community and the media for their assistance.
