A girl reported missing from the North Shore area has been located safe.
The 14-year-old girl was last seen at an address on Atchison Street, St Leonards, about 4.15pm yesterday (Friday 25 August 2023).
When she was unable to be contacted or located, officers from North Shore Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Following inquiries, the girl was located safe and well about 6am this morning (Saturday 26 August 2023).
Police would like to thank the community and the media for assistance.
