Missing man from Newtown

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s inner west.

Emanuel Boyages, aged 64, was last seen boarding at bus at Newtown headed towards Maroubra about 6am on Sunday (26 November 2023).

After he could not be contacted and did not return home, officers from Inner West Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to a number of health conditions requiring regular medications.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm to 180cm tall, of a medium build, with an olive complexion, grey hair and unshaven.

He is known to frequent the Newtown, Marrickville, Camperdown, Petersham areas, as well as Hurlstone and Maroubra.

If anyone sees Emanuel or may know of his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
