A woman missing from Shoal Bay has been located.
The 57-year-old woman was last seen leaving a business on Rocky Point Road, Fingal Bay, and walking towards Shoal Bay, around 6.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 19 July 2023).
When she could not be located, officers attached to Port Stephens-Hunter Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Following inquiries, including a public appeal, the woman was located by PolAir at Fingal Head about 10am today (Thursday 20 July 2023).
The woman is now being assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics and will be taken to hospital for observation.
