The Full Bench conducting the Modern Awards Review 2023-24, has issued a statement providing an update on the progress of the review.
The statement announces that we have engaged Western Sydney University to conduct a literature review and produce a report to support the work and care stream of the review. We will also be conducting a survey of employers to gather information about variations to modern award provisions that may assist in offering greater flexibility to employees in balancing work and care. Further information about the literature review and the survey will be published in the coming months.
The Commission has also published some guidance to assist people who may want to be involved in the review. These are:
- A document explaining the various review processes, and
- A template for submissions.
