Monash Expert: Medicare rebate increase for IUD insertion – welcome, but not enough

A Monash expert in women’s health is available to speak about the increased Medicare rebate for IUD insertion. While it is welcome news, the increase does not go far enough in covering the full cost of the procedure in general practice, putting at risk women’s ability to be able to access one of the most effective forms of contraception.
