Monash University has placed 54th globally in the prestigious 2024 Times Higher Education World University Rankings among 1904 institutions across 108 countries. Monash also maintained its standing as one of the top two universities in Australia.
Times Higher Education made significant changes to the World University Ranking methodology for its 2024 rankings, including the addition of five new performance indicators in research, industry and international outlook to provide more comprehensive and balanced comparisons.
The University welcomes another strong ranking result, which is a testament to the ongoing efforts of devoted staff, collaborative partners and the entire University community.
Earlier this year Monash ranked 42nd in the 2024 QS World University Rankings, 77th in the ShanghaiRanking 2023 Academic Ranking of World Universities and 21st in the 2023 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings.
