Police are investigating after a fatal collision in Mortlake this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Castle Carey and Mortlake-Ararat roads to reports of the two-vehicle collision, about 4pm on Wednesday, 11 December.
One man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
A second man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
