Westgate Highway Patrol members are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was seriously injured during a hit-run in Manor Lakes last night.
A black Ford Focus exited the Manor Lakes Central Shopping Centre car park and collided with a motorcycle at the intersection of Manor Lakes Boulevard and Buloke Avenue at 8.34pm.
The vehicle failed to stop and was last seen driving along Buloke Avenue.
The 23-year-old motorcyclist, from Wyndham Vale, sustained serious injuries during the collision and remains in hospital.
Investigators believe the Ford Focus would have sustained damage to the front of the car and bumper bar.
