Whether you’ve returned to the office or you’re working from home this year, there are many ways you can participate in National Ride2Work Day, the yearly celebration of cycling as a form of transport.

Yarra City Council is partnering with a number of cafes around the municipality to get commuters and home office workers alike on their bikes on Wednesday 10 November 2021.

Simply roll up to any of the participating cafes within Yarra with your bike helmet and mention National Ride2Work Day to claim your free coffee. This offer is valid on Wednesday 10 November and includes a limit of one coffee per rider.

Yarra Mayor, Cr Gabrielle de Vietri, said Ride2Work Day highlights the many benefits of cycling as a form of transport.

“Cycling is a wonderful way to get around our beautiful area, benefitting both riders and the broader community,” said Cr de Vietri.

“We’re passionate about sustainable, active transport in Yarra and would love to see even more members of our community utilising this cost-effective, environmentally-friendly and healthy way to commute.”
