To help increase canopy cover for our community, from 15 April 2024 to 30 September 2024 the City of Burnside are presenting residents with a green thumb a free native tree to plant on their property.
All you need is a shovel, some water and some sunshine to help increase canopy cover throughout the City of Burnside and enjoy an amazing free native tree in your own garden. Together we can help sustain the City of Burnside’s Tree Cities of the World recognition status. Fill out the form below and get digging!
How to redeem
Simply fill out our online form with your details. Approved applications will receive a native tree voucher via email.
Once you have received your voucher, head over to the nursery at Adelaide Advanced Trees, 264 Cherry Gardens Road, Cherry Gardens to present your voucher and collect your tree. Conditions apply.
If you have trouble accessing the internet, our friendly Customer Experience team will do all the hard work for you. Visit our Civic Centre during business hours and ask about obtaining a Native Tree Giveaway Voucher.
