AFP Assistant Commissioner Crozier said he was incredibly humbled to take on the role of Deputy Chief Police Officer next month.

“I feel very privileged to be part of ACT Policing’s contribution to the Canberra community,” Assistant Commissioner Crozier said.

“I was born and raised in Canberra and have had the opportunity to work in a number of teams in ACT Policing, which have had a profound impact on my career. I look forward to the leadership responsibilities of the Deputy Chief Police Officer role to support the extremely committed and highly professional members of ACT Policing.

“I have seen Canberra grow into the culturally diverse, major city it is today. As a major city it experiences all the positives that come from strong communities focused on supporting one another. Unfortunately, crime is becoming more complex, which I’m pleased we and our partners are at the fore-front of addressing.
