The Department of Health has published new information-a readiness toolkit-for residential aged care facilities about preparing for the roll-out of COVID-19 vaccines and obtaining and recording consent for residents. While the Commonwealth is providing an in-reach service for residents of aged care facilities, there may be occasions where GPs are contacted by a RACF as part of assessing a resident’s suitability for a vaccination.
