New national hospital funding agreement must reduce pressure on EDs

As negotiations continue on a new National Health Reform Agreement between the Commonwealth and state and territory governments, public hospital emergency department (ED) physicians hope to see a funding agreement that helps the system support dignity, safety and quality care for patients.
