Howzat for progress! Rosebud Cricket Club have received brand new cricket nets as part of a $280,000 funding initiative.

The club, who have their home at Olympic Park, Rosebud, have new nets to benefit members of the cricket club and the wider community.

The project involved the demolition of the previous cricket nets at Olympic Park and building a brand new enclosed four lane training net facility with synthetic grass.

Players from the club have already enjoyed a game or two and the facility is ready for the 2021–22 cricket season.

We’ve funded $150,000 towards this project and secured a further $100,000 from State Government through the Community Cricket Infrastructure Program. Cricket Australia also provided $30,000 as part of the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund.
