It’s a new Olympic and Commonwealth Games sport, so the Australian 3×3 basketball squad was excited to come into camp at the AIS in March.
The squad faces a challenging Olympic qualifying tournament in Austria in May, where they need to finish top-three to guarantee a place in the Tokyo Games.
Regardless of that result, Australian coach Dave Biwer and star player Bec Cole explain 3×3 basketball is a basketball trend that’s only going to continue to grow.
