Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology Dr Shane Reti announced a new funding decision maker – Research Funding New Zealand – a new independent board that will replace multiple decision-makers, making the system easier to navigate, more transparent, and focused on outcomes. This is part of Government’s changes to New Zealand’s science, innovation and technology system.
