Nominate a community hero today

Nominations are now open for the 2021 Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year Awards.

The awards recognise people who are committed to improving others’ quality of life and shown leadership. The winners will be announced at the Boroondara Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony to be held on 26 January 2021.

Our selection panel are looking at various criteria when assessing nominations. Some considerations include:

  • How has the candidate contributed to the community?
  • How has the candidate demonstrated leadership?
  • Has the candidate shown a commitment to helping others or inspired others?
  • What special skills, talents or attributes does the candidate have that makes them stand out?

The awards are open to all Australian Citizens who live, work, study or volunteer in Boroondara. For the Young Citizen of the Year Awards, nominees must be under the age of 26.

Nominate online today by visiting the Enter our Citizen of the Year award page.

Nominations close Friday, 13 November 2020 at 5pm.
