Latrobe City Council will be conducting street tree / vegetation pruning within the residential areas of Morwell, (zone 6) Traralgon and Churchill.
Works are scheduled to commence September 2021 and continuing to the end December 2021.
Areas will include:
Morwell (Zone 6) Area will include:
Zone 6 Boundaries:
- East from McDonald St, Morwell to Boundary
- South from Hourigan Rd, Morwell to Boundary
Traralgon (Zones 7,8 & 9)
- Works to be carried out throughout all residential zones
Churchill (Zone 10) Areas will include:
- Works to be carried out throughout all residential zones
This vegetation maintenance is required for Latrobe City Council to achieve compliance to the Electricity Safety (Electric Line Clearance) Regulations 2020.
The pruning of street trees is a legislative requirement. All works conducted will be undertaken in accordance with the best practice methods and Australian Standards AS 4373-2007 (Pruning of amenity trees).
Changed traffic conditions and minor delays could apply while these works are underway.
