NSW police appeal for information after sexual touching

Police are appealing for public assistance following an alleged sexual touching at Wynyard Railway Station last month.

About 10.20pm on Sunday 21 July 2019 police have been told that a 35-year-old woman was approached by an unknown man, and allegedly sexually touched.

The man then boarded a train heading towards North Sydney.

Officers from the Police Transport and Public Safety Command commenced an investigation into the incident.

Police would like to speak to a man they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of medium build, about 165cms tall, aged in his early 20s, with short brown hair and clean shaven.

He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, navy pants and navy ‘All-Star’ shoes.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may be able to assist with inquires.
