Police have arrested a man following the death of a woman in an alleged domestic-related incident today.
About 12.10pm (Monday 30 November 2020), emergency services were called to a unit on Nelson Street, Fairfield, following a concern for welfare report.
A woman was found with multiple injuries and died at the scene.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command have established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A 60-year-old man, known to the woman, was arrested at the home and has been taken to Fairfield Police Station.
