NSW police charge man after neighbour dispute

A man will appear in court today after allegedly slashing his neighbours’ ear and face during a dispute at Warwick Farm yesterday.

About 2pm (Monday 3 August 2020), officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command were called to a unit complex on Hinkler Avenue after reports of a fight between two men.

On arrival to the location officers found a 35-year-old man outside the unit block suffering a laceration to his face and ear. He was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment. He has since been released.

A 55-year-old man was arrested at the complex and taken to Liverpool Police Station where he was later charged with malicious wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was refused bail and is due to appear in Liverpool Local Court today (Tuesday 4 August 2020).
