NSW police charge man with six outstanding warrants in Sydney

A man has been charged with six outstanding warrants following an investigation across Sydney’s south west.

Officers attached to the South West Metropolitan Domestic Violence High Risk Offender Team commenced an investigation following reports a 21-year-old man had breached Apprehended Domestic Violence Orders.

Subsequent inquiries revealed the man was also wanted on outstanding warrants.

About 10.40am yesterday (Tuesday 12 May 2020), investigators, with assistance from Operation ODIN, arrested the man at a hotel on College Street, Sydney.

He was taken to Day Street Police Station and charged with six outstanding warrants.

Police will allege in court that the 11 charges relate to alleged domestic violence, prohibited drug, assault and breach of bail offences which have occurred since October 2019.

The man was refused bail and appeared before Central Local Court yesterday, where he was formally refused bail to re-appear before Liverpool Local Court on Tuesday 23 June 2020.
