NSW police charge three after police operation in Sydney’s west

Three people have been charged following the execution of multiple search warrants in Sydney’s west today.

Earlier this month, officers from Burwood Police Area Command commenced investigations into an alleged break and enter in the area.

Following extensive inquiries by Burwood detectives with the assistance of South West Metro Specialist Tactical Resource, Cumberland Proactive Crime Team, Surry Hills Region Enforcement Squad, and officers from the North Wet Metropolitan Region, simultaneous search warrants were executed at three residences in the Seven Hills and Toongabbie areas today (Friday 9 September 2022).

A number of items including clothing, cash and mobile phones were seized and will be forensically examined.

Two men and a teenager were arrested and taken to Blacktown Police Station.

They were each charged with two counts of aggravated break and enter dwelling etc in company steal equal to or less than $60000 and break and enter dwelling-house etc with intent to steal.

The two 18-year-old men were refused bail and due to appear before Parramatta Local Court tomorrow (Saturday 10 September 2022).

The 17-year-old male was refused bail and due to appear before Parramatta children’s court tomorrow (Saturday 10 September 2022).
