NSW police charge two men after home invasion in Sydney’s north west

Two men have been charged after a home invasion in Sydney’s north west early yesterday morning.

About 4am yesterday (Friday 8 November 2019), emergency services were called to a home on Hawkesbury Valley Way, Clarendon, after reports two men had entered the home and threatened four occupants with a firearm.

One of the occupants was able to contact police, who attended a short time later and arrested a 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old man without incident.

A crime scene was established at the premises and examined by specialist officers, and a replica firearm was seized.

The two men were taken to Windsor Police Station where they were charged with aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence.

They have been refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today (Saturday 9 November 2019).
