A woman will appear in court after a man was allegedly struck by a car and later died at Kiama earlier this year.
About 4:25pm Thursday 16 May 2019, a Toyota Corolla was travelling west on Noorinan Street, when the vehicle allegedly struck a 69-year-old man and then a parked Pantech truck.
The man was taken to hospital and later died.
The 19-year-old female driver of the Corolla was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests, before being taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station where she was later released pending further inquiries.
On Sunday 25 August 2019, the driver was issued with a court attendance notice for negligent driving occasioning death.
She is due to appear in Kiama Local Court on Monday 2 December 2019.
