NSW police investigate armed robbery at Griffith

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in the state’s south west.

About 9.45pm Monday (4 November 2019) an unknown man attended a service station on Banna Avenue in Griffith.

The man, allegedly armed with a knife, demanded cash from the service station attendant.

The attendant complied, and the man fled on foot.

No injuries were sustained as a result of the incident.

Officers from Murrumbidgee Police District attended and established a crime scene.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed a man approximately 170cm tall, of Aboriginal or Indian appearance wearing dark clothing and a black balaclava around the time of the incident.
