A man has died after a single-vehicle crash in the state’s North West.
About 10.30am yesterday (Tuesday 8 September 2020), emergency services were called to Cypress Way, Pilliga, following reports a car had left the road and crashed into a tree.
Despite efforts to revive the driver, he died at the scene.
Officers from Oxley Police District established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
