NSW police seek information after firearms stolen at Forbes

Police are appealing for public assistance after several firearms were stolen during a break and enter in the state’s Central West.

Between 2pm last Tuesday (28 September 2021) and 10.30am last Friday (1 October 2021), entry was forced into a home on Riesling Street, Forbes.

Three firearms – including two rifles and a shotgun – a safe, ammunition and a number of tools are believed to have been stolen.

Officers from Central West Police District attended and established crime scene and commenced investigations into the incident.

As inquires continue, police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident – or who has dashcam or mobile phone footage from the area – to contact Forbes Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
