NSW police seek information after sexual touching

Police are appealing for information after a man sexually touched a woman in her 20s in Circular Quay last week.

About 10.10pm on Saturday 5 December 2020, a woman was standing outside a shopping centre in Macquarie Place, Circular Quay, when a man approached her from the side and sexually touched her.

Police were notified and officers from Sydney City Police Area Command have commenced an investigation into the incident.

Police were told the man then joined a group of people and walked west towards Pitt Street.

Police have now released images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged 20-30, with short brown hair shaved on the sides and with a short mohawk at the back. The man also has sleeve tattoos on both arms down to his wrists.

He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt with black writing on the left chest and a black triangle with ‘UPRISING’ written inside and a chequered flag on the back, black cargo pants and black and white shoes.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has information about the identity of the man, is urged to contact police.
