NSW SES RESPONDS TO MORE THAN 1300 INCIDENTS DURING STORM RESPONSE

The NSW State Emergency Service (SES) has responded to more than 1300 incidents since start of the weather event across the state.

The majority of these incidents have been in the South Eastern Zone, with more than 650 incidents.

There have been 13 Flood Rescue activations, 9 of these within South Eastern Zone.

In the Southern Zone, there have been 57 incidents reported in and around Deniliquin and NSW SES volunteers are continuing to respond to calls for assistance.

Pumping in Deniliquin has been ongoing with crews working to relocate water from the town levee to the Edward River. Damage impact assessments are continuing for about 16 properties.

Rapid impact assessment teams also remain on the south coast, particularly in Lake Conjola where 40 properties have been impacted by floodwater.

A Watch and Act do not enter floodwaters remains in place for Lake Conjola. The alert for the Bega River has been downgraded to Advice, stay informed.

There have been more than 1200 NSW SES personnel on the ground across the state responding to calls for assistance.
