There were 531 cases recorded in the Top End region, 170 in Central Australia, 103 in East Arnhem, 53 in the Big Rivers region, 45 in the Barkly region and 143 are under investigation.
There are currently 137 patients in hospital, with 21 patients requiring oxygen. There is one patient in ICU.
The number of active cases in the NT is about 6,977
Public health measures
To slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community and reduce the rate of transmission, the following public health measures are in place across the NT:
- A Territory-wide indoor mask mandate
- It is highly recommended that all people aged 12 years and over wear a mask outdoors when physical distancing cannot be applied
