The Northern Territory is today reporting the death of a man in his 90s with COVID-19.
The man was from Greater Darwin, had underlying health conditions and passed away at Royal Darwin Hospital.
The total number of COVID-19 related deaths recorded in the NT since the start of the pandemic is 57.
There were 176 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the NT in the 24 hours to 4pm on 7 August 2022.
There are currently 32 patients in hospital. There are two patients requiring oxygen and two patients are in ICU.
The number of active cases in the NT is 1,724.
