A police officer has been charged with domestic related assault yesterday.
About 6pm Monday 31 August 2020, officers from Camden Police Area Command attended a Mount Annan home in relation to a domestic violence incident.
Following inquiries, a 46-year-old Sergeant, attached to a command in the South West Metropolitan region, was arrested and taken to Narellan Police Station where he was charged with two counts of common assault (DV), and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm (DV).
He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 9 September 2020.
