Fifteen people have been charged with 44 offences following a high-visibility policing operation in Mackay over the weekend.
The operation ran from 31 July through 2 August, involving officers from Mackay and specialist units, and POLAIR.
Additionally, police conducted 46 random breath tests (RBTs), 43 street checks, issued 11 traffic infringement notices, and seized ten non-compliant e-mobility devices.
Around 9.50pm on 31 July, a dark Ford Falcon was allegedly observed driving dangerously along Norris Road in North Mackay.
It is alleged the vehicle was observed exceeding speeds of 100 km/hr in 60 km/hr zones, and a 33-year-old Mackay man was arrested at a Short Street address a short time later.
The man was arrested and charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and driving a motor vehicle without a driver licence. He has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear before Mackay Magistrates Court on 4 August.
On 2 August, an emergent search was declared at a Skylark Street property in Slade Point after POLAIR tracked a stolen vehicle to the address.
During the search, police located and seized a rifle, a quantity of dangerous drugs, and stolen property.
A 41-year-old North Mackay man charged with one count each of driving without a licence, driving uninsured, driving unregistered, possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence, possessing dangerous drugs (methylamphetamine), and possessing/acquiring restricted items.
He is due to appear before Mackay Magistrates Court on 19 August.
