An Orange woman says her “poor little heart” hasn’t stopped racing since discovering she scored a life-changing $1 million in last night’s Weekday Windfall draw.

The Central Tablelands resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4755 on Monday 14 September 2026. She pocketed a clean $1 million.

The shocked winner confessed each time she went to fall asleep, she jolted awake to check she wasn’t dreaming.

“I checked it last night and I didn’t sleep a wink! I thought it couldn’t be true so every time I dozed off, I’d wake back up and re-check it,” she laughed.

“My poor little heart hasn’t stopped racing.

“I don’t always play Weekday Windfall, but I’d won $20 the other day so I just put it back into another ticket.

“Oh my gosh, every time you say $1 million, I could cry.”

The newly-minted millionaire said her husband had spent the morning urging her to answer every ringing phone.

“Usually if it’s a number I don’t know, I won’t answer so my husband has been saying all morning ‘Make sure you answer any phone calls that come through!'” she said.

“I was lying in bed last night going ‘I could do this and this and this!’ and then I would think ‘Actually, let’s do this and this,’ so I’m a bit all over the place.

“I’m certainly not going to rush into anything. I think once it’s in my bank account, it’ll feel more real and I’ll have more clarity.

“Thank you so much! Hopefully I can focus at work after this.”

Her winning 36-game QuickPick entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
