Ovarian cancer ‘invasion cells’ identified

Highly mobile, invasive ovarian cancer cells called ‘leader cells’ have been identified as leading the attack on healthy tissue.

Dr Maree Bilandzic explains this pivitol discovery, published in Cancers, and the significance of leader cells in finding more effective therapies for ovarian cancer.
